The efficient and unique solution of the Vitrum restoration technique consists of the machine and the finely tuned abrasives.

THE MACHINE
The machine removes any kind of damages with the given grinding diameters, abrasives and polishing materials and variable cutting speeds. With this process and unique technique we are able to repair/remove scratched, clouded or etched discs from the glass, saving you the costly and time-consuming replacement of the glass.
THE ABRASIVES
The actual core of the difficult glass surface treatment is the grinding and polishing agent.
Our own developed abrasives are used to efficiently process and optimize the surfaces.
All damages will be repaired without visible remaining damage.

During a detailed property inspection by our project manager, all the details are discussed with the client, site manager or architect.
Procedure & Materials
Our technicians decide on the appropriate measures based on the condition of the glass surface. Our special technologies specially developed for glass surfaces are used here.

Nach der Ölkrise in den 1970er-Jahren entwickelte sich Glas in aller Welt zum Recyclingpionier. Schnell standfest, dass der Energieeinsatz durch die Verwendung von Glasscherben beim Recycling noch einmal um 0,2 bis etwa 0,3 Prozent minimiert werden kann. Trotzdem gilt die Glasherstellung und auch die Aufbereitung des Materials als besonders energieintensiv und nicht gerade als sehr umweltfreundlich. Immerhin kam die Glasindustrie allein 2015 auf eine gigantische CO2-Menge von 4,9 Millionen Tonnen. Rund 16 Prozent davon entfallen auf die prozessbedingten CO2-Emissionen. Um die Umweltbilanz von Glas weiter zu verbessern, braucht es nicht nur innovative Technologien, sondern neue Ansätze. Einer davon ist die nachhaltige Glasreparatur.

The costs of damage caused by vandalism can quickly skyrocket, as retailers, municipalities and public transport companies in particular are repeatedly affected. Replacing the elements, removing graffiti or restoring scratched glass surfaces costs both time and money.
In order to protect the glass elements from such vandalism damage, we offer our customers our self-developed anti-vandalism security films with effective protection.
The film offers invisible protection for smooth surfaces and especially for glass to prevent destruction by vandalism and to protect the glass elements in advance.
With our +method, we offer you a cost-effective and sustainable solution which is particularly suitable for protection against vandalism. After an attack on the glass elements, the film can be removed easily, quickly and inexpensively and replaced with a new security film. In contrast to the replacement of window elements or a glass repair, the application of the film is quite inexpensive.
